ARCTIC CIRCLE

For most of us, our smartphone camera is an everyday companion. It is always at hand and can now capture more than just snapshots. But what all is cinematically possible with the cell phone camera of a current top smartphone? To find out, Fabian explored the landscapes of the Scandinavian Arctic Circle and captured them on film with the iPhone 13 Pro. In the process, the limits of what is possible in terms of light, temperature and stabilization were explored. The result is a showreel that shows that a current top smartphone can do more than most of us probably expect.

This short movie consists of two parts. A making-of part, for which Fabian also used other cameras, and in the second part the showreel, which consists exclusively of iPhone 13 Pro shots.
